Facilitator: Michael Booth

Michael was an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas from 1992 to 2001, in the Dept of Economics, the
School of Management and the Graduate School of Business.  Since 1975 he has also taught at the Univ of Texas in Arlington and
the Univ of Arkansas, and at six other colleges and universities.  Since 1994 he as been designing and delivering financial courses
for Texas Instruments' corporate training program, and has worked with TI managers and engineers in the US, India, Israel, Germany
and Canada.
 
In 1992 he founded GBA Capital Group to provide valuation, negotiation and representation services for the purchase, sale and
merger of privately held companies, and for transfer and estate related tax cases.  Michael is recognized as an "expert witness" for
the valuation of privately held businesses and minority stockholdings by the US Tax Court of Appeals.
 
Prior to 1992, Michael worked for 20 years in corporate startups and turnarounds: in his words, "creating what didn't yet exist and
fixing what was broken."
 
Michael resides with Asuman, his wife of 35 years, in Plano, Texas.
